Screen Nations Award Nominated ‘The Nana Churcher Show’ To Air New Season

The Nana Churcher Show has been nominated for Favourite Black TV Show (Magazine/ Chat show) in the 2015 Screen Nation Awards, which holds in London on Sunday, February 8th.

This comes ahead of the start of a new season of the talk show, which sees the lovable host travelling to the US to interview some inspiring Ghanaians as well as some of the biggest names in American showbiz.

“The Nana Churcher Show” is named after the popular Afro-Brit TV personality Nana Churcher. The series currently airs on primetime Sky 218, DStv Africa Channel 191, Homebase TV, Smart TV Ghana Channel 12, and GOTV with an audience of 1.5 million per episode and over 25 million viewers worldwide.

With over a decade of success in the entertainment industry, Nana’s interview style is upbeat, positive, and chatty. 

Her welcoming persona and natural ability to connect with an audience has earned her the opportunity to interview inspiring guests such as Brandy Norwood, Boris Kodjoe, Suzanne De Passe, Mary Campbell, Michael Essien, and Tinashe Kachingwe.

One of the most outstanding and memorable interviews for her was with Loveline Obiji and Grace Anozie, two Nigerian Women Gold Medalists in the 2012 Paralympics in London.
