The Ghana Black Stars held the star-studded Elephants side to a 0-0 draw after extra-time. But Ghana allowed a winning position to slip by after Ivory Coast missed their first two spot-kicks.
After 22 kicks, Ivory Coast recovered to win 9-8 and lift their second African title.
Barely 24 hours since the gallant display by the Black Stars of Ghana at the African Cup of Nations 2015 held in Equatorial Guinea, The players arrived on Monday, 9tth February,2015 at the Air Force and were received by the vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur.
