As part of MultiChoice Ghana’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, the company sponsored 10 schools in the Greater Accra Region to compete in the 2014/2015 Spelling Bee.
MultiChoice Ghana supported these schools to participate through the community and regional level of the competition and the National Finals.
The sponsorship covers registration, training and studying, vocabulary testing and oral spelling and provision of learning materials for students interested in taking part.

The National Spelling Bee is organized by the Young Educators Foundation; a local NGO dedicated to improving education in Ghana and who like us believe that education is vital to the development of the youth.
The final competition was held on the 8th of February 2015 at the Osu Presbyterian Hall in Accra.
MultiChoice congratulates all 82 students across the country that participated in this years’ championship especially Master Vishal Mukesh Thakwani and Master Kobena Asamoah Amoah for winning the first and second place respectively.
For this, MultiChoice Ghana presented Master Vishal with a DStv decoder and a month’s premium subscription.
