GN BANK NOW TITLE SPONSORS OF NATIONAL DIVISION ONE LEAGUE

It’s certainly a good time for Ghana soccer with the announcement of a title sponsorship for the national division one soccer league!

Formerly known as First National Savings & Loans, the newly re branded GN Bank, on Wednesday 18th February 2015 signed a three year sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association to become the title sponsors of the national division one league.

As part of the deal, First Digital Television, another member of Groupe Nduom, secures the exclusive broadcast rights to produce and broadcast what is now known as the GN Bank Division One League. First Digital Television will broadcast one match live every weekly.

Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Mr. Issah Adam, General Manager, Finance & Administration of GN Bank, revealed that GN Bank is paying GHC2.1m to the Ghana Football Association for the three years sponsorship deal. “we are sealing this deal with the Ghana Football Association this morning in line with our corporate social responsibility policy  to develop the human capital base of the country”, he added.

The president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwasi Nyantekyi, said “we are excited about this partnership with GN Bank. Over the period, the division one league has been known as the wilderness but with this sponsorship, the division one league will become more organized, patronized and organized”.

GN Bank is a universal bank with one hundred and three (103) branches spread across the country and has a variety of products and services including Money Transfer (MoneyGram, Western Union, Ria Money Transfer, Sika Plus, a nationwide domestic money transfer system), Small and Medium Scale Enterprise (SME) loans, Fixed Deposits, Current and Savings Account and Private Payroll Loans.

Other services are First Alert (Instant Telephone Account Information) and First Net, an internet banking platform.
