D-Black’s First ‘E.P’ To Drop On 3rd April (Good Friday)

One of Ghana’s finest musical exports and Personal Person hitmaker, D-Black has announced whilst on his Canadian Tour the release date for his first ever E.P, The ‘Shigbogbo’ E.P.

The E.P is set to whet up the appetite of Hiphop and Afrobeats fans in anticipation for D-Black’s third studio album dropping later this year.

Consisting of 8 unreleased songs with features from Kwaw Kese, Stonebwoy, E.L and more, the E.P will also boast three bonus records including the Personal Person Remix ft. Castro delivering a brand new unheared verse , Efya and Bisa Kdei , 'Carry Go' featuring Davido & Seyi Shay (Nigeria), BET Award 2014 nominee Donald (South Africa), MTV 2014 Award winner Stanley Enow (Cameroon), MTV VJ and multiple award winning act Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania) and Ghanaian rap star E.L.

‘Superman’ by D-Black featuring Efya which is the 2014 Ghana Movie Award winning soundtrack for D-Black’s first directed and produced movie ‘Why Should I Get Married’ will also be featured on this E.P as a bonus record.

The E.P is a fusion of the original hiphop sound that introduced D-Black to the world 5 years back and the new afrobeats sound as well. The first single off the E.P ‘Shigbogbo’ featuring Kwaw Kese is set to be released at his release parties in Accra and Kumasi on the 27th and 28th of February.

With 6 different producers on this E.P, we cant wait to hear this piece.
