The Beads bazaar will bring together top bead makers and designers in Ghana to showcase their handiwork. As part of the partnership both parties will organize periodic bazaars in each quarter of the year.
The Public Relations Officer of GBS, Rebecca Osei said “In the society’s quest to popularize Ghanaian Beads, GBS is bringing together seasoned bead makers and designers to entice prospective buyers and visitors with their products”. “Our vision as a society is promoting Ghanaian beads to the highest pedestal”, Rebecca added.
This year’s Valentine Bead Bazaar promises to be more exciting, featuring a vast array of food, crafts, clothing and music. Shoppers will be entreated with wonderful selection of African products such as traditional African crafts and jewelry
As part of the event, over 40 bead makers will be assembled at the conference room and courtyard of the hotel to display their products to the general public.
The event will take place between 10:00am to 6:00pm on February 14th, 2015. The organizers of the bazaar are expecting a high turnout of people on “Vals day”.
The courtyard the Afia beach hotel will be transformed into a colorful bead trading hub with the display of elegant jewelry and visitors can enjoy delicious snacks on display.
