Hello and welcome to a Piece of peace.
Your weekly dose of motivation and inspiration. Today I would like to share on the topic “It is always darkest before dawn”. I am sure you have heard that expression several times.
I recently went through a very difficult experience that made this statement, truer than I had ever imagined before. The thing about your life is, it is in constant motion. It never stands still.
You are either going through a positive life experience or a negative one and at any point in time, the decisions you make determine how successful you are going to be. The truth is, Every great work, every big accomplishment has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision whatever that may be and often, just before that big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.
It’s during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. All great changes are preceded by chaos. Now, one might ask, why is this always the case and I certainly have questioned this logic a time or two in my life. If God is working on our behalf, surely it doesn’t make any sense going through difficulty, pain and suffering before success?
It stands to reason that, God in His all-powerful state can simply remove all the bitterness of life’s journey and get us to the point where there is just joy and happiness. Think about it, the notion of Sin for example is more prominent in difficult times than in times of success and joy. So why do we go through dark times? Let me try to explain.Your weekly dose of motivation and inspiration. Today I would like to share on the topic “It is always darkest before dawn”. If you live in the dark a long time and the sun comes out, you don’t cross into it whistling. There’s an initial uprush of relief at first, then a profound dislocation. Your old assumptions about how the world works are buried, yet your new ones aren’t yet operational. There’s been a death of sorts, but without a few days in hell, no resurrection is possible. The darkness symbolises the end of one part of you and the birth of another.
You have to unlearn the old things that have gotten you this far to prepare yourself for your new level of success. Difficult times are there to make sure whatever attitude that is not needed for the next part of your journey is cast away and only those attributes that facilitate your growth and success are left behind.
Think about it as a filtration system. All the impurities are separated to one side and only the best ingredients make it. Never let the dark times in your life tempt you to lose hope. Don’t throw in the towel when it seems the worst.
Its part of the journey to success. Sometimes it looks like everything is falling apart and all you do fails, but you have to stay strong. Your past mistakes are meant to guide you not define you. Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will.
You’ve failed many times, although you don’t remember. You fell down the first time you tried to walk. You almost drowned the first time you tried to swim…don’t worry about failure. My suggestion to each of you: worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.
Never give up and always keep pushing and always remember, be yourself, because everyone else is taken.
Much Love,
Peace Hyde.
