Kwaw Kese, who is standing trial for unlawful narcotic
use, may have to wait a day more to know whether or not he will be
doing additional remand time.
The rapper’s case will now be heard
tomorrow, December 23rd, 2014 after the court agreed on Monday to a plea by his legal team for an adjournment, suggesting he (Kwaw) is scheduled for a medical check-up.
Kese is said to be suffering from stomach related complications, a medical condition his legal team said made it impossible for him to appear.
Kwaw Kese has however begun a massive campaign against the use of narcotic drugs by the youth.
Meanwhile, his colleagues in the music industry have been pleading with the authorities to deal leniently with him while others are campaigning for his release.
