'Mmoaninko'' festival is celebrated biennially by the chiefs and people of Offinso Traditional area (Ashanti Region) in honour of their ancestors, especially Nana Wiafe Akenten I for requesting the land from the late Asantehene, King Osei Tutu I, after Offinso had contributed significantly to the Asantehene’s war against the people of Dormaa.The event held down by Tigo during festivals popularly known as Tigofest for the people of Offinso last Saturday at the forecourt of the chiefs palace, attracted many people from the town and it's neighboring communities.
Upon all the fun and festivities during the festival, the subtle measure wasn't nearly enough to keep the fans satisfied, about an hour later, the crunked up crowd was restless and salivating for the night's stars.
Not even a stormy night could stop the regal reign of the Throne. On the night, Keche thrilled the people of Offinso with style, melody and swagger. Immediately The Skill Team ''Keche'' got on stage, they commandered a rising platform of the stage.
Within moments, the duo were elevated in unison towering above the audience, volleying verses from one side of the stage to the other, they performed their hit singles Aluguntugui, Pressure, Slow Motion, Gaaga, Diabetes and so on. Keche also owned the outfit for the night. Kofi B, Black Kat, etc came on live with fun as well.
The organizers of the event were Tigo in partnership with MultiTv .
