Eazzy (@Eazzyfirstlady) Cautions Ghanaians To Desist From Violence

Ghanaian musician Eazzy has admonished people to refrain from violence saying is not the best way to solve problems.

The “Wengeze” singer spoke passionately in a phone interview with Animwaa Anim-Addo on the Live Breakfast Club in commemoration of World Non-Violence day on Thursday. Eazzy said she doesn’t feel right about people being violent.

The music icon believes any situation no matter how bad it is, can be solved through communication, she added “I feel there is more power in the tongue than in a fist.”

“I would urge everyone regardless of gender and age, to try and report any violence that comes your way. When you’re upset, try and use your mouth not to provoke anyone but just to explain yourself”.

Touching on conflicts in the music industry, she said “I am very proud of us (entertainers) in the industry; actors, model, musicians. I don’t remember the last time I heard that anyone physically  has hit someone”. Eazzy noted that Ghana's stand when it comes to violence in the entertainment industry is very encouraging.

Eazzy however admitted that misunderstandings are also inevitable but “It’s okay for us to have misunderstanding”. She recently released a video for her new hit song titled “Emergency” which features Stonebwoy and a new single titled Sometin lost which features El. Eazzy looks forward to her shows in Uk coming up and will also embark on more projects before the year ends.
