This is the first time a Ghanaian artist has hosted a TV show in UK. Sarkodie will be hosting SWISH HQ on 16th August, a one off special show where Sarkodie will be airing his top ten videos to warm his UK’s fans appetite before the big show in London.
CEO of SWISH HQ Ludwig Junia is not new to Ghanaian; he is the one who brought UK events to Ghanaian TV. Through his shows Ludwig interviewed all the African celebrities in UK and was able to bring fresh television content from London to Accra.
Ludwig said he is keen to support Ghanaian artists, as such to date there has been a lot of UK TV video premieres of Ghanaian artists such, VVIP, Stonebwoy, Eazzy, EL, Samini, Edem and many many more.
Ludwig said, he has already been approached to host SWISH HQ Awards in UK and well as Ghanaian TV stations seeking to bring SWISH HQ to their audience in Ghana, however he likes to think long term and he does not get caught up in the quick success of SWISH HQ TV show.
He said when SWISH HQ was launched at the Shard, London tallest building, it gave dignitaries an insight that he is not about hype.
