Sarkodie Needs A Statue – Nana Fynn Backs Reggie Rockstone

Contemporary High life musician & Music Producer/engineer, Nana Fynn agrees with hiplife originator Reegie Rockstone for his comment that 2012 BET Best International Act award-winner Sarkodie needs to be held in high esteem  in the country sooner than later. Reggie Rockstone in a tweet stated that “If Gh really knew how passionate and determined sark is bout moving Gh music to da next we Wud build a statue of him! Very impressed!”

The ace hilife musician in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch said “my boy Sarkodie works very and he is worthy of anything”

The “Odo Handkerchief” hit maker continued that many Ghanaian musicians aside Sarkodie need to be honoured for their enormous contribution to help the music industry.

According to the artiste known in private life as Kweku Acquah Harrison, he finds it surprising why some Ghanaians will kick against this decision by Reggie Rockstone if we produce Kwame Nkrumah, the leader of Ghana and its predecessor state, the Gold Coast.

“Ghanaians are wonderful people but different. We struggle to value things that are close to us. I don’t know where that came from because we produced Kwame Nkrumah or he dropped from the sky?” Nana Fynn questioned.

“ If we produced Kwame Nkrumah then we should know that the way he loved and respected his own should be a national culture”

Nana Fynn who recently released “Forever” which features Sarkodie further stated that Ghanaians are not supporting the idea of building a statue to honour Sarkodie because “he is at the top. I don’t whether it is jealousy or something else”
