[News] ”Open Call” To Be On (@GHcoptic) Coptic’s Rising Stars Of GH Vol. III Mixtape

Ghana’s US based Multi-Platinum producer Coptic is set to release his Vol III of his mixtape, a sequel to his previous mixtape project.

As part of the ‘magic’ expected to come with his latest mixtape, the multi-talented producer is giving young upcoming acts the chance to feature on it.

Talking to www.georgebritton.com He said ”My mixtape is about working with and elevating the skill/understanding level of upcoming Ghanaian artists without a released album”.

He further stated ”I also feature established artists on the mixtape sparingly. This helps boost the relevance of the mixtape”. ”So if you are an aspiring artist, you can submit your music for review and on acceptance, I will produce a new song for you, either as a solo or with featured artist”, he added.

Previously, the mixtape featured GH artist like Sarkodie, D-Black, Edem, E.L, C-tso, Stargo, Greenfield, KwawKese and Samini just to name a few.

Also, the mixtape featured American acts; earlier volumes had Young Dro (Atlanta), Tek (Smif-n-Wessun) and many more.

Volume II of the mixtape series had Coptic adding a new ‘flavour’ to the musical project as he had some Reggae (Stonebwoy& Trademark) and some spoken word (Rhymes Sony) all on it.

This year’s mixtapeVol III is expected to have its own midas touch.

As part of Coptic’s effort in giving young acts the platform to showcase their talents, he in collaboration with ‘Bless Da Mic’ staged a concert in relation to the Mixtape project which was held at Alliance Francaise in Accra.

Young upcoming artists were able to share the stage with established artists like Sarkodie, Wanlov of FOKN Bois, Jayso, Joey B and others. They plan on moving forward with more concerts in the future.

His last words to the young musicians out there goes like ”this is an open call for all artists that feel they have what it takes to be on my next mixtape, they can submit their music for consideration – music.rsgh@gmail.com”.
