The search for undiscovered music superstars for Vodafone’s Icons Remix edition continues as the audition train hits the Northern regional capital, Tamale this Saturday, 30 August, 2014.
The audition, which takes place at the Gariba Lodge at 10:00am, will give music hopefuls in the city and surrounding communities the opportunity to be part of the biggest music reality show.
According to Vodafone Ghana, auditions for Icons in Tamale for the past three years had recorded high numbers. The region boast of great music talents including Afro Rock singer, Noella Wiyaala, who was part of the group “Black and Peach” that won the ‘Icons Mixed’ edition in 2012.
Potential contestants aged between 18 - 30 years are encouraged also to audition online by submitting a video at www.icons.vodafone.com.gh . The video should be in MPEG, MPG, MP4, OGG, MOV, AVI, WMV, M4V and VOB formats.
Organisers explained that the size of the video should be 30 – 50MB and should not exceed three minutes, adding that one song should be recorded per video, while a maximum of two videos could be sent by contestants. This year’s Icons promises to be entertaining.
