Entertainment programming on Ghanaian television is about to change! Lovers of quality entertainment content on television are set to enjoy one of the world’s most loved celebrity entertainment shows on Ghanaian television.
Tim Westwood TV, hosted by celebrated and award winning British disc jockey, radio and television presenter, Tim Westwood, will soon start airing on the Spyder Lee Entertainment television (SET) channel, available on First Digital Plus, Ghana’s premier digital pay television operator.
The show features interviews with international superstar musicians and industry moguls including Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Drake, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Eminem and many more during their tours, before and after performances, during parties and from unusual locations in London.
The show which has for several years remained the number one entertainment show in the United Kingdom has featured other stars including Africa’s biggest stars; D’bang, P Square, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Ice Prince, Funny Face, Buk Bak, and Tiffany.
Commenting on the acquisition of the rights to air the show on an African television platform for the first time, the Chief Executive Officer of Spyder Lee Entertainment, Mr. Edwin Edinkrah, revealed that “Tim Westwood will be in the country in the first week of May 2014 for a media and stakeholder event to announce the partnership with Spyder Lee Entertainment Television and also interact with members of the media as well as stakeholders from the Ghanaian music fraternity”.
