SPORTS: Tempers Rise At Frank Odoi-Zab Judah Fight Press Conference

A press conference was held on Wednesday, April 30 at Casino gram in New York for the brawl between Ghanaian-born German based boxer, Frank Odoi and former Undisputed World Welterweight Champion, Zabdiel “Zab” Judah.

At the press briefing, managers for both the WBO IBF champion of the world and the American boxer talked at length about the June 28th match in Germany. They promised the world an entertaining fight which will go down into the records of the world as one of the best fights ever in the history of boxing

Zab Judah’s manager, Bob Smith promised that Frank Odoi will be knocked out of the fight at the 7th round in his country, Germany, denying him the chance of winning the WBO title. He added that Judah has not taken this bout between him and Frank for granted even though Frank is below his standard.

Erol Ceylan talking about Frank Odoi’s readiness for the match disclosed that his boxer has been training for long and is ever ready to meet Zab Judah on June 28. Whilst Bob Smith promised of a knock-out stage at round 7, Frank’s manager said Zab Judah will be knocked out at the round of 9. He added that since the WBC Super welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather, Jr agreed to fight Frank Odoi after he has won this fight with Zab Judah, Frank promises his fans all over the world of a glorious victory.

According to Erol Ceylan, Floyd Mayweather Jr is Frank’s target so he is poised for action come June 28. He added that Frank is currently training hard at Westerland in Germany to beat Judah. Mr Erol dared that he will stop managing boxers should Zab Judah win this fight against Frank Odoi.
Frank Odoi is currently sponsored by German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures sports shoes, clothing and accessories, Adidas. KLM, Lufthansa airline and Air Berlin have promised to sponsor Frank Odoi should he beat Zab Judah on June 28 in Germany.

The fight between Frank Odoi and Zab Judah on 28th June, 2014 in Hamburg, Germany will be televised LIVE on RTL, HBO, Eurosport and Sat 1.
