My Beef With Samini Is Over Says Shatta Wale

This is not the words of CypressGH but that of Shatta Wale. According to a publication by George Britton , Shatta Wale said on Okay Fm that his feud with Samini has come to an end and now he is focusing on his music.

According to georgebritton.com,

The long prevailing feud between two of Ghana’s finest dancehall artistes, Samini and Shatta Wale seems never to end anytime soon.

The beef which revolves around the ownership of the title “Dancehall King” thus, the king of dancehall music in Ghana is an issue that sparked up in the industry since Shatta Wale bounced back into the music scene after a recessed while with his hit song “Dancehall King”, it has since been escalating from one level to another on timely basis.
The two artistes have on several platforms tried to prove themselves to justify who best befits the title but all to no avail, this has drawn many concerns to the matter including management and record labels and fans of both parties all around the world.

The antagonism has for some time now died out that one could think it was over, Shatta Wale who just returned from Canada in an exclusive interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay 101.7 FM’s extended drive show hinted that, while in a party in Canada, he was threatened by a group of boys who confidently identified themselves as a cohort from Samini’s camp, the attack however yielded no casualties.

Details of the story were asked to be withheld as it could re-fuel the beef which has been quiet for some time now.

Shatta Wale hence attested that, to him, the beef is over and he was only going to concentrate much on his career to inspire the “Ghetto Youth”.

He also hinted that fans should expects joints from him and BET award winner Sarkodie and also one of Ghana’s evolving dancehall acts “the queen of dancehall” MzVee.
