“I am happy they loved my performance. I was overwhelmed by the reception of the fans and I believe this is the beginning of new things to come. People chased our bus and shouted my name and chanted,'Tu es un chef, Rasta'. They loved the Moonsplash reggae and I ended up playing more venues than any other artiste or band. We have been invited to three other festivals across Africa later this year. To Jah be the glory.” Blakk Rasta told Flex newspaper after the last concert at Zone 4 on Saturday.
Blakk Rasta was supported by his Herbalist Band who lost their guitarist, Mascot at the start of the festival. The band wowed audiences with strong, powerful rhythms in all venues. Blakk Rasta arrived in Ghana on Sunday and has since been back on his Taxi Driver show on Hitz 103.9fm.
