Yvonne Nelson denies reports of new movie with Iyanya

Ghanaian award-winning actress Yvonne Nelson has denied reports that she is set to star in a new movie with former heartthrob Iyanya.

Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji reported yesterday that the former lovers were set to star in a movie being produced by Elvis Chuks titled The Ransom.

According to Linda Ikeji blog, Iyanya has been approached and he has shown interest in playing a role in the movie and as soon as they agree on terms and fees, shooting will commence.

But shortly after the story was published, Yvonne Nelson took to social media Twitter to deny the report. She tweeted: Hi @lindaikeji pls be accurate with stories involving my name. Thank you

Yvonne later tweeted: OMG @lindaikeji you changed your previous story right?? I'm sure you feel bad about it. Get it right next time. Good you edited it.

“I haven’t approached anyone. Whoever is writing or sending these stories should stop it. I don’t intend to cast Iyanya in my movie. Very false” she concludes.

It will be recalled that the Ghanaian actress suffered a broken heart last year after the she and the Nigerian musician split. It was first rumoured that fellow actress Tonto Dikeh was the reason, but Yvonne herself later came out to deny her (Tonto's) role in the break-up.

Iyanya has also made subsequent remarks and comments about his former girlfriend, some of which has been slammed.
