Auditions for 10th anniversary Miss Kwahu to hold on January 31st

2014 edition of the Miss Kwahu beauty pageant has been launched in Accra. The launch attracted representatives from the company behind the pageant as well as stakeholders.

This year’s edition also marks the 10th edition of the pageant and it is aimed at helping and assisting young ladies to pursue their dreams, according to Miss Kissiwah Adu Adane, Miss Kwahu 2004.

“Miss Kwahu is about making an impact in people’s lives. A lot of people have projects that they want to pursue but they don’t have the means. We decided to bring Miss Kwahu back to help young folks to pursue projects that is geared towards making Kwahu a better place,” she said.

Miss Adu-Adane, who is also the Managing Director of House of Boro said, unlike other beauty pageants, Miss Kwahu will “encourage children in the area to embrace education and also to promote Ghanaian values among women”.
According to the Head of the organising outfit, House of Boro, Nana Boro said auditions will be held on January 31st at Z-Bar located inside the World Trade Centre in Accra to select young, smart, intelligent and articulate Kwahu ladies between the ages of 18 to 30 years to participate in the pageant.

The main event is scheduled for April 19th, 2014 at the Modark Royal Hotel in Kwahu, Eastern Region.
