Sensational vocalist and producer, Bisa (Boys In Serious Action) Kwaku Dei, has been shedding light on his success story. Bisa’s music journey started 14 years ago but it wasn’t until recently that he became a force to be reckoned with.
After successfully producing and featuring on some movie soundtracks, Bisa became the toast of many music lovers in 2012 and has become a household name in Ghana.
In a revealing interview on Traffic Avenue on Citi FM, the ‘Give It to Baba’ singer explained that his success is borne out of the fact that he’s decided not restrict himself to only one genre.
He told host, Kwame Osei, that “I don’t want to limit myself to one thing. Ghana’s cedis industry even though is growing is still small you have to be versatile to remain relevant.”
He also dispelled assertions that his ‘Give it to Baba’ single is a gospel song saying “Give it to Baba is not a Gospel song. I did it just to motivate people. There are too many problems these days so people need the right songs to carry them through their days and give it to Baba serves that purpose.”
Alongside the artists billed to perform on the night, Bisa is expected to thrill the Accra International Conference Center on December 24 at the official Christmas party, Decemba 2 Rememba (#D2R2013).
