A rising Ghanaian artiste Joey B has chalked down his success to a statement by Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie. He describes his statement as a "prophesy".
Joey B says he was once told by Sarkordie four years ago that he will one day dominate the Ghanaian music scene and become a star.
The underground artiste became the new hip life sensation after releasing 'Tonga' - an instant hit which features Sarkodie.
The music video is known for its intricate yet suggestive dance moves and is enjoying great viewership on the internet.
Speaking to Multi TV's Rebecca Darko, Joey B praised his mentor's keen ability to spot talent.

“Sarkordie is an artiste who doesn’t easily work with people, before he works with you; it means you must be really dope".
He went on to reveal that "for Sark to tell me like 4 years ago that am going to be a star one day, and you know it’s happening right now. What Sarkordie prophesies is come to life and am very happy”
Joey B believes that the sky and above is his limit as he promise fans serious hit songs starting next year. He is also grateful to Ghanaian and all who love his song.
