Reggie Rockstone And Obrafour Still Rule Hip Life

You might think the phrase “experience is the best teacher” is just a combination of English words, but come to think of it, it plays a major role in everything we do in our lives.

Reggie Rockstone and Obrafour proved this statement to be true at the just ended Back in the Day concert at the Accra international conference centre which was put together by Bola Ray`s Empire Entertainment.

Though the headline artistes were international musicians Naughty By Nature from the United States, Reggie Rockstone known as the Grand Papa of hip life together with Obrafour made the night a memorable one with their back to back hits which they dished out to revelers. Knowing their stature in the hiplife industry with their age to consider, the two had to use experience to entertain the charged but sparse audience at the Conference centre.
Sitting on an expensive stool designed by one of Ghana`s best designers Chapter One clothing in their stage entry, with beautiful singer Racquel between them, it was obvious the two were poised for action and really and truly, they killed the show like never before. No wonder there were many in the audience who enjoyed their performance better than the international artistes on the night. Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone were unstoppable and they helped concert goers to reminisce the past of good music and more.

Songs like “who born you by mistake by Obrafour and keep your eyes on the road” by Reggie Rockstone were enjoyed by the audience and they even demanded for more from the two greats in the music industry as they rapped some of their verses in a free style vein. Their performance was supported by Fiifi Sellah, Efya, Racquel and Root I who added their bit to the wonderful showmanship put up by these two forces.

Other performers on the night who joined in making history during the Back in the Day concert included T Blaze, Shock Klan, Th4 Kwages with Samini and Sarkodie supporting from the audience. It was evidently clear that Samini and Sarkodie really enjoyed themselves from the audience as Sarkodie was seen rapping along most of the songs that were performed on the stage.

Despite the seemingly low patronage at the concert, revelers really enjoyed themselves to bits during the performances by the artistes and with support from Dj Andy Dosty and Dj Nii Ayi Tagoe, they had their monies worth and would obviously want another edition of Back in the Day concert soon.
