After weeks of promo,the newly introduced midweek weekly event Africa Uncovered will officially start this Wednesday Dec. 18th at CAVE Lounge, Osu.
The event which is design to celebrate and help promote the art and culture of Africans will see artistes,poet,spoken word arts,models among others being celebrated on a weekly basis.
Africa Uncovered seeks to unearth and nurture talents especially in the music industry and give the necessary platform to the young up and coming ones to showcase their real talent and works in an open mic session each Wednesday at the Cave Lounge.
Army Music group brains behind this innovation to this new addition of event to Accra's Nite life events says, it is not coming to compete with any event but create the platform for the up coming generation to flourish with their hidden talents.
Each week, on Wednesday Nites, the Cave Lounge will host and celebrate one artiste who will be supported by others in an open mic session with live performances with Dj's coming from all over,the nite will be a blend of Afro Beats, Francofon and indigenous rhythms from all over Africa.
Throughout December and to mid January next year, #AfricaUncovered will be free to the public at the gate. Music lovers are therefore encouraged to turn each and every Wednesday for a different Nite life experience.
