Celebrated American gospel musician, Ron Kenoly, is expected in Accra on Thursday for this weekend’s ‘Africa Worships With Sonnie Badu’ concert at the Accra Sports Stadium.Kenoly, who was Born on December 6, 1944, in Coffeyville. He is married to Tavita Kenoly, with three sons. He is counsins with American actor Don Cheadle. He co-headlines Saturday’s event with Minister Sonnie Badu, will touch down at exactly 6:00pm, organizers say.
An American worship leader, singer and songwriter, Kenoly’s musical influences are heavily reliant on his appreciation for instruments.
Award-winning, and influential, Kenoly started working in full time ministry in 1985, and has for the past three decades, extensively toured the world.
He achieved his major mainstream breakthrough in 1992 with his Lift Him Up best-selling album.He is married to Tavita Kenoly, with three sons. He is counsins with American actor Don Cheadle.
All roads lead to the Accra Sports Stadium as the city prepares to host two of the world’s most sought after worshippers in an unforgettable one-night-only concert.
The two artists will be supported on the night by leading Ghanaian gospel artistes SP Kofi Sarpong, Kwesi Oteng, OJ, Ohema Mercy, Joe Mettle, Eugene Zutah and Ella Duncan Williams.
