With just a few days left until the much anticipated final of Bavaria Big in Ghana, the competitive tension is at its peak! The four finalists, Naa Bee, 7Thirty, Bullet and Tom Tom are all within touching distance of being revealed as the winner and each now have their eyes set firmly on the goal. Who will triumph on the night?
At thirteen and fourteen years of age respectively, Naa Bee and 7Thirty are the youngest contestants in this year’s competition. However, they both exude a cool confidence which cannot be taken for granted as they have both delivered polished performances at each stage of process.
Tom Tom and Bullet almost seem like veterans in comparison, with Bullet stating in the finalists’ interview with Live 91.9 FM’s Antoine that he has been in the music game for six years.
During the interview all contestants said that they are looking forward to another performance alongside Ghana’s best live band, Afro Harmony. The performances are expected to be high impact with the bar being raised even higher. Sage words came from M3NSA of the FOKN Bois, who reminded the audience at the semi-final that ‘the votes cast today will affect the lives of the contestants forever.’ This statement will be particularly true for the ultimate winner of the title as last year’s winner, Bryte the Micnificent, will tell you.
His life has been transformed from the local Abeka boy he was, trying to bring his music to a wider audience, to the national star that he is today capable of performing hits such as “Nadia Number” to large crowds of fans.
Organisers are urging fans to try their best to turn up on time on the night in order to cheer on their favourite act and ensure that their cheers contribute to the ‘noise-o-meter’. The ‘noise-o-meter’ is the only way to guarantee your favourite act is crowned the 2013 Bavaria Big in Ghana winner and walks away with the ultimate prize.
The final will be held at Freedom and Justice Park (Obra’s Spot) on Friday 29th November at 6.30pm featuring live performances from FOKN Bois, Yaa Pono, Bryte Micnificent, Afro Harmony and Efya.
Bavaria will be giving away more amazing prizes such as a Samsung Galaxy S3 Pocket, a Panasonic Flatscreen TV, a Samsung Galaxy tablet, Samsung Headphones and a wristwatch for those who buy Bavaria and redeem their scratch cards.
Bavaria Big in Ghana is supported by Kasapreko, the sole distributor of Bavaria.
