The Industry Welcomes Atitiriw Magazine Gold Edition

In a speech delivered by the managing editor of Atitiriw magazine Miss Maud Acheampong at the launch, she noted that Atitiriw is a quarterly magazine which is here to serve as a platform to portray unique Ghanaian culture and our time tested traditions to the other parts of the globe.

She also explained that Atitiriw is an Akan word which literally means “important or prominent” so just like the name goes, we celebrate prominent and important Ghanaian citizens and Africans across the entire continent.

The event which was attended by most  musicians, public figures, and the media saw a thrilling performance from artistes like  Stella Dugan and Tic Tac.

According to management, the second and latest edition which was launched contains exclusive interviews and interactions with important personalities including Abrantie Amakye Dede, the award winning highlife musician and Mr. Kwame Opoku the distinguished Ghanaian businessman.
“We also covered high profile wedding ceremonies, funerals and other social gatherings.

Also the fact that the media in Ghana has over the years played and continue to play an indispensable role in the socio-economic development of this country, we at Atitiriw magazine have joined the very competitive media landscape to contribute our small quota towards the noble cause of informing, educating and above all entertaining the reading public.  Indeed, it's our ultimate aim to help shape societal behavior and morality.

Miss Maud continued that it is our fervent hope and prayer that our colleagues in the inky fraternity as well as our cherished readers would not hesitate to put us on our toes with your constructive criticisms and encouragement.

Though the first copy of the second edition of the Atitiriw magazine went out for both in dollars and the rest in Ghana cedis, the sales alone and acceptance have proven the good success of Atitiriw magazine.
