The Dark sides of 4Syte TV nominations jam in Kumasi #Oseikrom

The nominations jam for the 2013 edition of the 4Syte TV Music Awards kicked started in the Garden city of Kumasi in a two day party session which undoubtedly brought lots of fan to many who love and cherish the programmes of the powerhouse.

Nevertheless, the beautiful event you watched on your TV screens had several hiccups which I believe need to be sorted out as artists deserve the best treatment from whoever requires their service irrespective of how powerful an outfit could be.

Starting with artists who got stranded at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City for unavailability of rooms to cater for them after they had been airlifted from Accra to Kumasi; a situation which could have been surmounted prior to the show as checks by www.nydjlive.com proved that official communication had been made to the CEO of 4Syte TV Ignace Hugo to make other arrangements since the hotel was full due to the impending football game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Pharoahs of Egypt the following week.
Not just that, information gathered from artists who wish to remain anonymous indicates that the artists prior to being flown to Kumasi were notified they would have to foot their own bills for food, something they agreed but later did not heed to which got the CEO overly angry especially when an artist and a DJ who I would want to withhold names for now ordered two bottles of MOET and asked that it be credited in the name of the CEO. Lol.

Upon being notified, Ignace got annoyed and asked the artists to pay themselves, something which broke the camel’s back. Some of the artists who got agitated decided to boycott the program as they argued they would not perform on empty stomachs after a car had been sent to pick them up from the hotel but were later compelled to perform as they were threatened never to have anything to do with 4Syte TV activities.

tHmm, the question then is, what is in 4Syte TV that gets these artists to be threatened into performing?
