Somewhere in West Africa, agroup of music artist emerged from a small town in Ghana (Koforidua), which is the capital of Eastern Region in Ghana.
By two Ghanaian talented gentlemen kinex (James Tweneboah) and Rexo (Richard Mensah),who met in Koforidua Secondary Technical School in2001, where they got married to their talents and formed the group 2 IN ONE.
Before the group was formed, each was solo doing his own thing, kinex in the genre of Highlife and Rexo in Dance hall genre. So the combination of genre together to produce songs brought about the name 2 IN ONE, with their motto ‘’THIS IS HOW WE DO’’.
Their introduction album, which was their first into the music industry, was released on August 9,2009 and had songs like ‘’Shake your Hudaada’’ and ‘Girl Bi’’ on this track they featured T-bone Kanawu.
It was promoted by Empire Entertainment in Ghana, which became a massive hit all over and crossed the boundaries of Ghana. They performed on many platforms with other music artist and had more radio and TV interviews. In the year 2011 remixed version of Hudaada was released, which had underground artist, Fat B and Eunice featured on.

The Hiplife duo in 2011, move to Accra from Koforidua, where they already had a home based music recording studio to setup another music recording studio at Taifa (2inONEmusic Recording Studio), a suburb of the capital city of Ghana, where most of their songs were recorded and mastered by Kinex who is a music producer.

Influentially the duo had influence from different legendary music artist, kinex gives credit to Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Ofori Amponsah, Dada K.D, Kakyire Kwame Appiah, Daasebre Gyamena and more, who he met and took advise from them, whiles Rexo had his from Culture, Bob Marley, Buju Banton and Lucky Dube.
They described their own music as fun and youthful whiles at the same time signifying deep meaning and they don’t produce songs they cannot relate to in some way, shape or perform. Their music reflects how they are.
Their second debut album, titled (PARTY} is to be released this year 2013 which has songs like Party, Alagastia, Holiday, I really do featuring Anne Victoria. All songs were recorded in 2inONEmusic Recording Studio accept Alagastia inCreative Studio by Appietus. They are planning on a nationwide tour for this album, which is under BI Entertainment.
Their goal is to take their music career to the highest peak which they always say their father in heaven will make it happen, where they will record with other artist after their debut album (PARTY) to be release October 1, 2013 is out on the music market.
Also, the group hopes their music will provide new means to enable them donate to charitable organizations and help underground a music artist to join the game. 2 IN ONE, says everyone has dreams and goals and withGod on their side, all things are possible, so they are going for theirs to the extreme. Our fans should expect good rhythmic songs from them always. It’s not over until God says so.
