Multiple award-winning hiplife group, VIP have unveiled the latest signee on their Boogie Down Nima (BDN) Record label. Stranjah, formerly known as Double Eye, was one-half of the group, F.O.I (Fruits Of Inspiration) which was discovered and mentored by VIP. However, with F.O.I member, LilKryz now pursuing education in the USA, Double Eye had to continue his music career by reinventing himself as Stranjah.
In addition to introducing Stranjah to the public on VIP’s new single and music video, ‘Want It (Aa Pla Mokobi)’, the group officially announced that it has signed Stranjah as a solo artist on the BDN with a management contract worth ghc 100,000 for 5 years. It includes a car, which was presented to him at a press interaction in Accra.
VIP member, Zeal hinted that Stanjah has always been part of the music collective and they hope that the new deal will help project his talent as a rapper and singer to Ghana and the rest of the world. He hinted that BDN Records hope to discover more new talents from not only within Nima but across Ghana.
Stanjah on his part, said he was happy about the deal and added that he is ready to show the world his talent as a solo artist and to make his BDN family proud. He hinted that his first single, ‘Wa Tricki Wo’, which was produced by Nshorna Music would be released next week, followed by the release of a music video later in the month.
