‘The One Show’ bounces back with Season 6 on Monday 3rd June, 2013, with regular hosts, PY Addo Boateng and award-winning presenter Joselyn Dumas.
Coming on the heels of five successful seasons, Season 6 of ‘The One Show’ promises to raise the bar and discuss more topical and interesting subjects to viewers. The one-hour interactive show brings to the fore issues that viewers can relate to, often giving them the platform to contribute to the programme and share personal experiences.
This season, however, producers of the show are taking a bold step to address matters that are most often ignored, but affect us. Among them is the issue of bullying in schools. Does overprotective parenting lead to bullying? We also discuss young women who dress and act as men but are heterosexual. How does the public perceive tomboys? Are they acceptable? This season also takes a look at losing weight, career development, pain management, fashion, and Dyslexia, an issue that is often swept under the carpet.
Viewers should also expect an upgrade of last year’s studio set with brand new furniture, but same interior décor and antiques.
‘The One Show’, which is Viasat1’s premiere own production, has risen to be a household name in Ghana and has chalked immense success from the fourth season. Over the past few years, it has proved to be a benchmark for TV talk shows in Ghana. Season 6 promises to make greater strides, following the consistent LIVE production it began last season, which would continue this season.
‘The One Show’ Season 6 is expected to draw an increased audience share, interactivity, and also involve the audience, which will attract more viewers from a larger scope. Make a date for the season’s premiere on Viasat1 this Monday 3rd June, 2013 at 5pm, and catch it same time every Monday to Thursday.
