One of Africa’s biggest music /entertainment channels, Channel O have reviewed the multiple award winning Ghana Bwouy’s sophomore album ‘The Revelation’ describing it as a really dope album labelling D-Black as yet another African artist making African-music on an international level.
The album is nominated at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and should be a shoo in to win the coveted award.
Channel O reviews: The Revelation is like an African mixtpae. D-Black features Efya, Ice Prince, Muna, L-Tido, Joey B, Kesse, Raquel, Kel, Sammie, Waje, Ayraaba, Sarkodie, Edem, Asem, E.L., Skales, Sheek Louch, Rell, Salah Edin, MoCheddah as well Gudda Gudda and Wale, etc from Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, U.S.A, Morocco and South Africa.
That’s a lot of people to get on one disc and still maintain yourself through out.
D-Black does this with ease. The various personalities of the rapper come out; he is conscious, ambitious, has a naughty streak, he hurts, he loves, he is loved by many and hated by some, you know – all of that.
D-Black’s rhyme-style and persona are on par on this sophomore album. The production, deserves a special shout-out. Well done to Black Avenue Muzik – BAM!
It’s a really dope album. Yet another African artist making African-music on an international level.
Kudos to D-black!!
