GHANAIANS & ART INDUSTRY QUIET OVER MUSICGA GHC 2M ALLOCATION GREED

Barely less than a month ago in this country almost all entertainment review shows both TV, radio and newspapers was on the case of the selfish interest of MUSICGA for claiming ownership for the government GHC2M budget allocation for the art industry.

NanaYaw18.com a newsgroup and agency challenged the government on why they have decided to remain quiet on the issue. At least we were hoping that the government will come out to explain to the public as to whom and who was to benefit in the allocation.

Then we heard that the able men of MUSICGA are saying that they made the appeal to the government to support them hence they owned that money. Well, many people spoke against it, the ministries revolving around the art industry including the musician’s union president never opened their mouth till now.

It was as if they knew the solution to both Ghanaians and the media. The attitude of ‘they will talk for two weeks’ after which they will all forget is working for them. Indeed Ghanaians spoke and challenged for two weeks and left the issue to die of.
The last time we heard about the GHC 2m case was the heading ‘musicga to account for GHC20b’ apart from that nothing has been heard. These selfish union and the wicked lying politicians are been left once again to continue to throw dust into our eyes.

Why allocate money to musicians and publicly say its for the arts. This is a simple example of how politicians take the average uneducated people for a ride.

NanaYaw18.com is asking when the union body of musicians will be asked to account for the money for every art industry player to be updated.
