DIAMOND APPIAH TO APPEAR IN BIKINI

Fresh back from France, The sensational Diamond Appiah, also referred to as Ghana’s Lady Gaga, is poised to take the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards to an exceptionally different level as she hints to wear a trendy bikini to perform her latest single “Kaa Fe Dull” for the first time ever.

“I want to bring the beach to the National Theater that day! I know your imagines are running wild! Just look out for my costume on stage”, she teased.

“I am very excited about the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards , because the first time I heard about that initiative, I thought it was a terrific idea and am happy to be on board because It is the DJ‘s who promote our music. without DJ’s the whole world will be boring, so am happy Ghanaians have recognized that DJ”s are very essential in our music industry and Merqury Republic is putting up this awards ceremony to award them”, she explained.

Her hit single “Kaa Fe Dull’ which was released in June ,and aired on some selected radio Stations in the UK , Canada ,Nigeria as well as in the Big Brother House recently made her the toast of hundreds of Ghanaian music fans .
She joins an array of female artist including Kaki , Mzbel , D-3( the latest female group making waves in the music scene) RNM (winners of the maiden edition of the Vodafone Icon Diva), and gospel sensation Herty Borngreat.

The Ghana DJ awards is aimed at promoting, honouring and rewarding the best achieving Ghanaian radio, night club and “recognized” mobile Disk Jockeys (DJ).

Produced by Merqury Republic Events, the event, first of its kind in Africa, is expected to bring more excitement and added value to the DJ profession in Ghana.

With just about three weeks to the much talked about event, organizers of the Ghana DJ Awards, Merqury Republic events said they are preparing to bring a quality time as Ghanaians troop to the national theater in their numbers on 26th October to celebrate and appreciate their DJ’s for their tremendous contribution to the music Industry and Ghanaians in general.
