Relebogile Mabotja To Battle It Out For A Share Of R1 Million For Charity

It’s that time of year again, this weekend, Saturday, 2 November 2019, the annual Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile will take place and media personality and businesswoman, Relebogile Mabotja, will join for the very first time as one of the celebrities battling it out for a share of R1 million for charity.

Relebogile Mabotja will represent Thembimfundo Primary School with the horse, Camphoratus.

Should Camphoratus win the Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile horse race, Relebogile Mabotja will have the pleasure of handing over a cheque for R150 000 to the Vosloorus based primary school.

A highlight of the horse racing calendar, not only for the connections of the finest equine athletes who line up in the starting stalls, but for several charities that will benefit. The common goal of giving back to those less fortunate makes this race so special. Win or lose, all charities will receive an allocation of the R1 million depending on their allocated horses’ overall placement.

“I’ve always admired the Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile and the support they give to local charities each year. This year I’m extremely honoured to be a celebrity participant. School aged youth are a particular focus for myself and my foundation, so it’s highly fitting that I’ve been paired with Thembimfundo Primary School,” shares Relebogile Mabotja.

Connect with Relebogile Mabotja on social media for BTS from the Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile and to see if she has been paired with the winning horse. You can also attend the event. Details below.
