Ghanaian teen actress Clara Benson popularly known as Maame Serwaa, has signed a deal with Lifebuoy, the world’s leading health soap company as their new Brand influencer.
As part of the company’s annual event, celebrating Global Hand Washing Day, the young actress is expected to engage patrons on social media to drive engagements and traction for proper hand washing campaign in a post-event day activities.
She will also tour selected schools and selected venues to educate children and mothers to wash their hands with soap and water in the Ashanti Region.
Lifebuoy took interest in signing this deal with the beautiful actress because of her success in the Ghanaian movie industry and for being an inspiration to millions of Ghanaian youth.

The Global Hand Washing Day celebrated on 15 October, every year, is a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives. It was initiated to reduce childhood mortality rates and related pneumonia and diarrhea by introducing simple behavioral changes, such as handwashing with soap.
Serwaa is currently one of Ghana’s most celebrated actresses who began acting on age 6, has since not looked back.
The screen goddess has moved to build and maintain a reputation as one of the most-loved actresses in Africa, and no wonder Lifebuoy ’s interest in her.
