Ghanaian Highlife legend, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has been unveiled as the artiste to be honoured at the third edition of Oak Plaza Hotel’s ‘Dinner with the Stars’.
At a short ceremony in Accra on Wednesday, May 2nd, John Maddison, General Manager of Oak Plaza Hotel expressed optimism the event, like previous editions, will be blissful.
“History will repeat itself… There is a lot to celebrate that day,” he assured.
On his part, Ambolley promised his fans of a great show saying, “There are so many things you’ve not seen me do. You know what I can do.”
Supported by telecommunication giant, MTN, the event is expected to come off on May 25, 2018 at Oak Plaza Hotel, East Airport, Spintex Road.
‘Dinner with the Stars’ is aimed at giving legends who are being celebrated a place of honour at the event together with their family and fans. Other renowned African acts, usually, friends of the legend are also invited to join in the celebration to perform some of their songs in support of the legend.
The first honored KK. Fosu who recently re-plunged himself back onto the music scene with three new singles in 2016.

Ambolley is known for his extensive and impresssive performances with hit singles like Abrentsie, Simi Rapp, Afrika Yie, Su Nkwa, Simigwa-Do, Ketan and many more
Because of his originality, his performances have left audiences raving and shouting for more, as was the case at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York.
As he put it, “The best is yet to come.”
