Reboot Your DStv Experience : New & Returning Series On M-Net

The holiday season may be coming to an end for many but the fun and magic just never stops on M-Net. DStv customers will get a much-needed ‘viewing reboot’ for the new year when some of the fan favourite big series make a dramatic return to the screen and new ones make their debut this January.

Returning Series

Kicking off the entertainment is the much-awaited return of the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy with a double-bill airing on Monday 15 January at 5pm. The Shonda Rhimes-produced series picks up with the team focusing on helping Owens sister after her shocking return from war.  

The historical drama Vikings, also returns on the 15th at 6:05pm for more on the saga of the legendary fighters during an age of conflict and conquerors.

Fans of the NCIS franchise sure will be thrilled with the season 9 return of the NCIS Los Angeles. The fast-paced police drama premieres the new season on Thursday 18 January at 6pm.

On Monday 22 January, you better be up and ready for the anticipated second season of multi-Emmy-Award winning drama This is Us. The new season picks up during the Big 3's 37th birthdays as Randall and Beth debate a big life change and Kate takes the first step in pursuing a new passion. Golden Globe-nominated dramedy. Tune in at 6pm.

Reality talent show fans are also in for a treat with the return of The Voice on Friday 26 January at 5pm. This season, original series judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are joined by Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson to find out who the next winner of this singing competition will be.

There is also something in store for culinary lovers and would-be-chefs on MasterChef Australia which airs on weekdays at 3:45pm.  Don’t miss out on the teenage and uber-talented young designers when they showcase their amazing talent and sharp eye for fashion in Project Runway Junior which airs on Saturdays at 4pm.

New Series

Get ready to embrace the all new S.W.A.T. making its debut on DStv. Starring Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), in the premiere episode, locally born SWAT Sergeant Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson is tasked with running a specialised tactical unit. Catch the action on Thursdays at 6pm.

Mosaic, produced and directed by Oscar-winner Steven Soderberg premieres on M-Net on Tuesday 23 January at 7pm and in this innovative drama, the audience determines the plot. And, based on the acclaimed film of the same name, Snatch premieres on the 25th at 8pm.

This dark British dramedy sees small-time criminal Albert hill sucked into the high stakes world of organised crime.
 
New Home for your Superheroes


There is even more magic in store for viewers with their favourite superheroes now in a new home on M-Net Supergirl returned for another action-packed season on Mondays at 2:45pm. 

The new season of Arrow is on your screens on Tuesdays at 2:45pm, The Flash on Wednesdays at 2:45pm, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays at 2:45pm as well as the fantasy drama Once Upon A time on Fridays also at 2:45pm.

Please note that the Late Late Show with James Corden season 4 is now in its new timeslot at 10pm.
