Another prestigious award goes into the coffers of Mr. Oscar Yao Doe, the President & Executive Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, Eurotour Gh & Eurotour Logistics after receiving two honours in Nigeria in the last two months.

Mr. Yao Doe at the 2017 MUSIGA Presidential Grand Ball which happened at the State Banquette Hall on December 29 received MUSIGA Industry Pillar Award. The Musicians Union of Ghana honoured him with the special award for his pivotal role in the development of the Ghanaian music industry.

The MUSIGA Industry Pillar Award was presented to Oscar by the president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the 5th edition of MUSIGA Presidential Grand Ball.

Graced by the presence of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E Nana Akufo-Addo, former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and other business executives.

The fifth edition of the Musicians’ Union of Ghana (MUSIGA)’s annual presidential grand ball came off a t the State Banquet Hall in Accra yesterday, December 29th.

The ball saw great performances from acts such as Becca, Wutah, Nana Ampadu, AB Crentsil, Daddy Lumba, and Ivorian superstar Freddy Meiway. Another big performer on the night was DKB.

The ball which was attended by the President of The Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and other government officials saw each of them getting their ribs ache from the Jokes the King of Gh Comedy, DKB laid on them.

It was a great performance by the comedian and it was very obvious that the first Gentleman of the land enjoyed every bit of it as he was seen laughing uncontrollably.

The comedian who cracked jokes about the fact that President Nana Addo stays in Nima therefore if the spirit of your abode will take over you, we will find Nana facing his critiques in the NDC with aggression in stereotypical ways of nima.

The President who resides in the community seemed to relate with what the comedian was saying and responded with hysterical laughter.

After a long silence and much speculation from the fans of the rap goddess, Eno Barony surprisingly pulled a big one on the music fanatics with her maiden album titled “Yaa Asantewaa”.

“Yaa Asantewaa Album” because she has reflected on the motives of the past heroine Yaa Asantewaa and has concluded her career journey is neither different from that of hers.

Over hundreds of Ghanaian influential personalities and celebrities on Saturday, December 30th, thronged the Accra International Conference Centre to witness a night of spectacular surprises at the 2017 People’s Celebrity Awards.

Ghanaian Singer, Joy Onyinyechukwu Adomaa Serwaa better known as Adomaa over the weekend made her appearance at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) proved she still has her groove on, as she was greeted with wild screams from exuberant fans during her performance.

She was one of more than many artistes who performed at the December 2 Remember concert (#D2R2017) which was held on Christmas Eve at AICC

Fourty-seven Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME) owners who participated in the maiden edition of Vodafone’s China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Masterclass programme have graduated at a colourful ceremony held in Accra.

Every 1st Dec the world marks World Aids awareness day. The disease has received less attention in recent times even though it’s effect still claims millions of lives across the world.

Ghanaian rap act Michael Owusu Addo, known by his stage name Sarkodie has rendered an apology to fans and thousand others who suffered one way or the other at the just ended Rapperholic Concert ’17 held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

In a statement made available to Us (Cypress Ghana), Sarkodie together with the SarkCess Team apologized for the inability of fans to enter the event grounds at the announced time due to laxity of security. They also apologized for the technical challenges they were met with.

Prior to the commencement of the show, a number of fans expressed the frustration over how they were met at the venue and the fact both regular and VIP ticket holders had to force their way into the venue. Others also complained about organizers overselling tickets etc.

Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician Joyce Blessing is reported to have survived a near fatal accident Yesterday ,25th December at the outskirt of Teacher-Mante township on the Accra - Kumasi Road.

The Agyebum crooner was together in the car with her crew involving her husband, back up singer , blogger and other staff from Zylofon Media, we can confirm.

The award winning singer according to our source was travelling from Takoradi where she performed at the MTN Westside Carnival to Kwahu for another event dubbed "Bliss On The Hills" at around 11PM where the unfortunate scene occurred.

Even though the Vehicle was totally damaged, Joyce Blessing and team managed to escape death narrowly with only one person getting injured.

Also according to Mr. Samuel Atuobi Baah , the accident occurred when the Zylofon Media automobile was dodging one of the numerous cars parked by the roadside but failed and crashed into one.

He further revealed that there were some minor injuries after the incident happened but they cut the journey short and returned to Accra for medical assistance.

Two of Ghana’s most controversial personalities are joining forces to help people achieve orgasm during sex.

UK based Rapper Kojo Funds arrived in Ghana last night ahead of Stonebwoy’s BHIM concert which will be held tonight at the Accra International Conference Center.

The ‘Dun Talkin‘ act will perform alongside the Dancehall artiste at the event dubbed Epistles of Mama Album release edition.

Kojo Funds is an artist redefining the music genre lines.

Hailing from East London, where the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Kano, Lethal B & Wiley have emerged from, he is creating a major buzz in the music scene. His sound can be described as AfroSwing. He can go from Grime to R&B in a flash without breaking the listeners ear drums whilst doing so.

Ghanaian dancehall and reggae artiste, Stonebwoy thrilled fans with amazing performance at his annual show Bhim Concert which was held last night at the Accra Conference centre. Everyone present didn't want the event to end because of the epic performances from the billed artistes.

Stonebwoy was not the only big performer on the night, the King of Gh Comedy, DKB, did what he does best and help made the show full of explosions. With his amazing track record of hosting successful concerts, the Bhim Concert was an easy task for the comedian.

With his amazing witty nature and how he can incredibly involve the crowd to join in what ever he is doing, there was no dull moment with him on stage as the host of the night.

Haven Records hip hop artist, Ntelabi, has dropped the official music video for his catchy single – Dangbele [Scissor].

This is his first official music video after re-branding from Drilix to Ntelabi in the early parts of 2017.

The lawyers of Exclusive Events Ghana Limited and Inna Mariam Patty, Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co. have threatened to sue journalists, bloggers or any individual who spread ill-natured publications about their client.

In a notice www.CypressGhana.com sited late Wednesday, December 20, the lawyers are asking the general public and the media to desist from spreading malicious and defamatory reports about their client. They threatened to sue any person or group who fails to go by their directive.

According to them, allegations against their client by some former past queens are “baseless, categorically untrue, inspired by malice and mischief and only calculated to ridicule, embarrass, disparage and bring our client’s enviable reputation into disrepute.”

At the grand finale in Eko Convention Centre, 25-year-old comedian, Gift Loveday received the coveted title of the first ever Comedy Central’s Grab The Mic (CCGTM) Winner, together with Maltina.

Gift, one of the wildcard contestants who was flown into Lagos to participate at the finale, received the show’s grand prize of 1.5 million naira along with the golden opportunity of sharing the stage with ace comedian Ali Baba. The winner was announced by show presenter Seyi Law to a full house crowd’s applause.

No African Time

According to him, if no one is seated by 8pm, the show will go on. That will really be something to watch - a Nigerian show with an early start! Hallelujah!

The much anticipated BHIM CONCERT dubbed the EPISTLES OF MAMA(EOM) ALBUM RELEASE EDITION is 2 days away the the BHIM president, Stonebwoy can’t wait too long for Friday to rock the Accra International Conference Center(AICC) stage.

The show promises to be a super exciting one with performances from top artists in Ghana with the likes of Eden, Samini, King Promise, Rocky Dawuni, Kelvyn Boy alongside zylofon music artists Becca, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini.
