New Series And More!! It’s An October To Remember On DStv

October looks set to be an extra-ordinary month of series entertainment with the return of some of the most spectacular shows and premiere of new ones on DStv.

On 17th October, DStv customers can look forward to the irreverent BAFTA award-winning chat show host from the Emerald Isle with a fresh season of The Graham Norton Show, to air every Tuesday at 6pm on BBC Brit.

There is a whole lot more entertainment in store for DStv viewers with The Mayor (Vuzu AMP, 19 October at 5:30pm), The Good Doctor (M-Net, 9 October at 20:00), The Platinum Life (E!Entertainment, 16 October 6:55pm ),  Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (Crime & Investigation, 18 October at 6pm)…plus a whole lot more!

Earlier this month the hit series Prison Break, returned with a special fifth season after a seven-year break on M-Net Mondays from 5pm.

The multi-award nominated series picks up seven years after the apparent death of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) gets a call that Michael may still be alive.

On Vuzu AMP on Mondays at 7pm, controversial and daredevil lawyer Annelise Keating (Viola Davis) made a return to the screen for another drama-filled fourth season of How to Get Away with Murder. Still in tow are Connor, Michaela, Asher and Laurel, her four law students who weather every legal (and sometimes criminal) storm with her.

The seventh and final season of The Fixer focusses on Olivia Pope and her new position as Chief of Staff for President Mellie Grant and the Command of B613 throughout October on Mondays at 7pm Express From the US. It also depicts Quinn Perkins as the boss of her crisis management firm Quinn Perkins & Associates, as well as staff at the White House in Washington, D.C., in their efforts to deal with and contain political scandals.

Also this October, BET is presenting a ground-breaking anthology series called Tales, whose plotlines are inspired by hip hop hits from N.W.A’s *** tha Police to Meek Mill’s Cold Hearted and the Notorius BIG anthem I Got a Story to Tell. At turns provocative and poignant, the series has set Black Twitter alight and attracted praise and criticism in equal measure. Tales will air on Mondays at 7:30pm on BET.

Our favourite survivors return to FOX (DStv channel 125) on Monday, 23 October at 7pm. The last time we saw Rick, his life was saved by Ezekiel, Maggie and the tiger. We’re sure Neagan is not happy at all with how things left off, so he’ll probably have a few tricks up his sleeves. We can’t wait to see what The Walking Dead S8 will serve up on Monday evenings.

Enjoy all of these fabulous showa on DStv and so much more!
