Van Vicker Elected Vice President Of Ghana Actors’ Guild

Ghanaian actor, Joseph van Vicker, better known as Van Vicker has been elected Vice President of the Ghana Actors Guild following elections held at the Art Center in Accra, on Saturday.

His campaign, however, to get Abeiku Sagoe as his boss was dashed as the veteran actor was beaten by veteran movie director Sam Fiscian.

After the victory, Van posted on Instagram his victory pose, saying: “Actors in Ghana have decided. I am vice president for GAG 2017. To God be the Glory. #MySuccessStory #themanofthepeople #theyounggodfather”

Actress Kalsoum Sinare was elected as Welfare Officer, a position Mr Vicker wanted to go to Papa Nii. Van Vicker picks up the position of Vice President which was originally occupied by Vivian Achor, who was sacked for absenteeism. The newly elected officers have a one-year tenure.
