StoneBwuoy’s Former Manager Returns to Haunt Him

It seems the Ghanaian Dancehall league cannot stay bereft of controversies as week in-out, artists, producers and management of the chart topping genre continue to make the biggest headlines.

Late last year, news broke of one-time Ghanaian Artiste of the Year; Stonebwuoy Burniton breaking business relationship with his long time manager under whom he won the coveted BET International Act award; Karl Gid.

Since the news of their split broke, none of them has given a narrative of their decision to part ways (especially) at the climax of their musical journey.

In a latest interview with Stonebwoy’s former manager, Karl Gid on the Empire Drive on Empire102.7FM-Takoradi, he maintained a diplomatic stance refusing to openly declare reasons for their break-up.

But he made the biggest revelation yet, about his latest move; a “haunting task” on his former artist.

Karl Gid has resurfaced with a new role as General Manager of Freedom Cry Records and personal manager of yet another Dancehall artist and former label mate of Stonebwoy; Eye Judah, a clear statement of intent to prove his battle readiness for yet another Dancehall rule.

Karl Gid having worked with the “Baafira” hit-maker for years before his departure definitely knows how to “attack” his biggest competition in a bid to top the charts, win endorsement deals and best of all headline all the major concerts.
