Sunyani Coronation Park came to a standstill yesterday ,11th March,2017 with star studded performances from the various Ghanaian artistes who mounted the Vodafone Ghana Music Award Nominees Jam Stage.
The event saw an appearance of a mammoth crowd who trooped in to the premises from all corners of the town to witness the historic event.
An implausible stage performance was captured by patrons from the Sunyani based artistes who opened up the show at around 8PM.
The likes of eShun, Cina Soul , AJ Lyrix, Kuami Eugene and CJ who were nominated for the Unsung Category also performed to the gratification of patrons present.
Gospel singer Mabel Okyere moved the crowd with her danceable and captivating stage craft as she sanged and danced along with the fans who cheered her up.
Ras Kuuku who was the next to entertain the patrons performed songs like ‘ Ye Tali Mu’ , Gyene and the popular “Nwansena” single which got fans frenzied as never before.

Guru is arguably the biggest artiste from the Brong Ahafo Region and he indeed proved himself right.
The fans present seemed to be very familiar with every song the NKZ Music front liner performed at the event. Popular songs like Amen, Lapaz Toyota, Money Power featuring Shatta wale, Samba, Boys ‘Abr3’ and more got patrons crazy as he was mopped by some of the audience after his performance.
‘He who laughs last ,laughs best’. High Grade Family’s spearhead Samini closed the show as he thrilled fans with songs like Linda, Scatter Badmind,Sweet Mistake and more.

Samini left smiles on the faces of huge number of patrons who were present at 2AM. when he was performing and it was quite evident that Samini will leave the audience in nostalgia after the whole event.
In the long run, I can vividly say ,the 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award Nominees Jam held in Sunyani, the capital of the Brong Ahafo Region is one of the most successful events held so far in Ghana.
