TRANSPORT AGENT ERIC MENSAH PICKS UP FIRST WEEKLY PRIZE OF GHC 10,000 IN THE AIRTEL WO MMERƸ NIE PROMOTION

The first weekly prize winner in the Airtel ‘Wo MmerƸ Nie’ promo, Eric Mensah picked a cash prize of GHS10, 000 during a presentation ceremony in Adum, Kumasi. The proud transport agent who is based in Accra, could not hide his excitement during the ceremony as he indicated his plans to invest the prize money in his business.

The ‘Wo MmerƸ Nie’ recharge promo was launched only a week ago at the Kaneshie market in Accra with the aim of enriching the lives of Airtel customers and empowering them to pursue their dreams and aspirations this year.  As part of the promotion Airtel prepaid customers receive points whenever they recharge with GHS 2 and above.

These points accumulate overtime and customers with the highest accumulated points at the end of every day, week and month win prizes such as talk time, data bundles and smartphones for daily winners and cash prizes of GHC 10,000 and GHC 25,000 respectively for weekly and monthly winners. In addition, customers win instant prizes such as airtime, data packages, and social media bundles anytime they top up with GHC 2 and above by sending WIN to 477.


During the presentation, Rosy Fynn, Marketing Director of Airtel Ghana reiterated the company’s commitment to empower customers to actualize their dreams with exciting prizes throughout the promo period.

Double points for recharges using Airtel Money

Airtel prepaid customers who recharge or purchase data bundles using Airtel Money automatically receive double points for every recharge worth GHC 2 and above. This is a further boost to customers who use this channel to recharge.

Points accumulated weekly and monthly are automatically rolled over to the following month to give every customer an increased chance of winning.

Customers can check their accumulated points by sending POINTS to 477. Weekly and monthly cash prizes will be paid to customers via their Airtel Money wallets within 24 hours.
