Presentation of the first batch of prizes for winners of the 20th Anniversary Promotion of Mobile Telecommunications Network, (MTN) Ghana was held at Achimota Mall on the Starr Drive with Anita Erskine & Giovani Elolo Caleb on Tuesday, june 28th, 2016.

The first ultimate winner, Eugenia Adama a fashion designer from Latebiokorshie in Accra has been presented with a Range Rover sports vehicle whiles the second prize winner, Prince Borbie was also presented with a two bedroom house at Community 22 in Tema, with others receiving air tickets for pleasure trips to Dubai.

Cash prizes were also awarded to three others —Pierre Naa Baror Kweibu, Christopher Mensah and Tim Miles.

Pierre Naa Baror Kweibu received a cheque for ten thousand Ghana cedis (GHC10,000), while Christopher Mensah and Tim Miles each received a cheque for five thousand Ghana cedis (GHC5,000).

Others also received various types of smart phones, namely Samsung S7 Edge, Iphone 6 Plus and G8 Handsets.

In an address at the ceremony, Mr Noel Kojo Ganson, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Ghana, reiterated MTN’s focus on achieving its vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world and pledged the company’s commitment to delivering the best customer experience through innovative products and services.

Mr Ganson expressed appreciation to customers of MTN for their loyalty to the brand and cautioned them against the activities of scammers, adding that MTN did not require customers to make payment in any form before prizes were redeemed.

Eugenia Adama after receiving her prize said she had doubts when she was initially informed she was the winner. 

“I first thought it was scammers but when I went to their office and they told me I had won, I was surprised, and now I have the car. It will do a lot for me in the business I operate and I will take very good care of the car” she said.

The 20th Anniversary Promotion, which was launched in May 2016, forms part of activities marking the celebration of 20 years of MTN’s presence in Ghana and demonstrates the value MTN places on its customers.

The Promotion is being organized in partnership with  Real Estates Developers, Devtraco  Limited, which built the two-bedroom house; Emirates Airlines who are facilitating the pleasure trips to Dubai and KPMG which ensured that the selection process of winners was fair and transparent.
