AIRTEL GHANA SENIOR LEADERSHIP ENGAGE STAKEHOLDERS IN ASHANTI REGION

Members of the senior management team of Airtel – Ghana’s best Data and Internet Service Provider – as part of its stakeholder engagement activities has toured the Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi to touch base with customers, employees, media houses, partners and other stakeholders including the Ashanti Regional Police Command. 

The team, led by Managing Director Lucy Quist included the company’s Legal and Corporate Affairs Director, Hannah Agbozo, Sales and Distribution Director, Samuel Sarpong, Head of Corporate Communications Richard Ahiagble and the company’s Zonal Business Manager – Kwaku Asiedu. The team spent time with customers and trade partners, enterprise and some high value customers in various locations in Kumasi.

Customer engagement

Engaging with customers from Suame to Asokwa and Adum, the team visited Airtel Premier and Business customers and trade partners taking feedback to enhance their experience on the network. Speaking to the reason behind the engagements, Managing Director, Lucy Quist said “As a business, we value the relationship we have with all our customers. We continue to grow because of their patronage. 


Our customers spur us on to greater heights and are the reasons behind our world class innovations. We undertake these regular engagements to understand the needs and pain-points of our customers to enable us develop the un-matched products and services they have come to know us for.

Quite recently we were adjudged Ghana’s best Data and Internet Service Provider among other key awards at the Ghana ICT and Telecom Awards for our relentless effort to enrich customers’ experience on our network.

We are also here to say thank you to our customers whose patronage and partnership make us the network of choice in Ghana. We will continue to lead the data and digital space to provide unparalleled experience for our customer specifically in data but also for enterprise and voice”. Strengthening relationships with local stakeholders.

The team also paid a courtesy call on DCOP Kofi Boakye, Ashanti Regional Police Commander and his team. Speaking to the purpose of the visit, Airtel Ghana’s Head of Corporate Communications, Richard Ahiagble said “We have had a great working relationship with the Ghana Police as a whole and specifically with the Ashanti Regional Command within the region. 

Our visit is in service of strengthening this relationship. We want to congratulate the Regional Commander and his team for their effort in fighting crime and for transforming policing in the region”.

The team made a donation towards the Regional Police hospital project currently underway.

DCOP Kofi Boakye commended Airtel Ghana for their support and contribution to enriching lives in the country through its CSR initiatives.
