Michael Attram Wins Best Supporting Actor At Utah Film Awards

Michael Attram was named Best Supporting Actor at the 2016 edition of Utah Film Awards in the USA on Friday.

This year’s awards show saw many changes and was held at the spacious UCCU Events Center, in conjunction with the CVX Live YouTube convention.

The biggest change is the awards show’s criteria. Now it doesn’t matter if the movies have any Utah connection whatsoever.

Michael Attram won the award with his performance in Freetown; a film about six Liberian missionaries in Monrovia who were caught in the middle of a brutal civil war. He beat out equally good actors; Liam Bui (Just Let Go), Nathan Stevens (The Cokeville Miracle) and Jasen Wade (Miracle Maker) for the nod.

He was nominated for the award, together with Henry Adofo another Ghanaian actor who played lead in Freetown film.

Michael Attram, a model is new actor and the Freetown film is his first major production.
