Photos : Sarkodie Shares Experience On ‘The Art Of Side Hustle’ At Harvard University

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, known by his stage name Sarkodie was at the Harvard Business School earlier today to speak during the 18th annual Africa Business Conference.

The VGMAs 2016 ‘Artiste of the Year’ nominee who among other speakers spoke on the topic “The Art of Side Hustle” noted that “in the music industry, you don’t always have to put a song out there to be successful.”

“You don’t also have to be out there when you have a strong brand,” he added.

Among the speakers at the program included but not limited to Chris Diaz (Marketing Director of Kenya Airways), Nmachi Jidemna (Facebook Payments and Partnerships), Fatima Beyina-Moussa (CEO of ECAir) and Diane Audrey (a journalist). Also present at the conference was John-Paul Parmigiani (CEO of Impact Hub Accra).

However, blogger and author Okechukwu Ofili noted during his remarks that “my side of hustle came out of frustration.”

The three-day event is under the theme “Unite, Innovate, Disrupt: Homegrown Models for Africa’s Prosperity”
