Photos : GOtv Ghana Invests In Training On Personnel

GOtv, Ghana’s affordable pay TV service has invested GHc10, 000 to train 32 installers who are known as GOtvHenes with the aim to improve the quality of GOtv installations, and offer superior after-sales services. 

They trainees were also empowered with technical and business management skills, all required to keep subscribers satisfied in all situations. 

GOtvHenes are trained GOtv personnel who are available in all communities at all times to assist subscriber with all and any technical issues.

These GOtvHenes’ will join the existing base of trained personnel and will be responsible for new installations, as well as the provision of maintenance services to existing subscribers. They were equipped with tool boxes to make their work easier.
According to Mr. Cecil Sunkwa Mills, the Managing Director of GOtv Ghana, not only is this initiative supposed to help its customers, it is also a great way for GOtv to help aide each economy it finds itself in to make it sustainable.

“We are pleased to provide our subscribers with the best service and making available easily accessible handymen to their doorsteps as well as do all we can to help the community members.” “In the coming months, GOtv intends to roll out to the various regions that it operates”, he continued.

He also urged subscribers to make use of the various self-service options to resolve payment issues conveniently. Currently, GOtv subscribers can pay through MTN Mobile Money. Airtel Mobile Money, traders on the eTranzact payment platforms as well as traders on the Paymenex platform.

The training took place at the Aviation Social Center here in Accra on the 6th, 7th and Field service activities on 8th August 2015 and was facilitated by Samuel Asomaning.
