Is Buhari Already Confused? Etcetera Asks In His New Article

Singer and writer Etcetera writes on President  Buhari and the few weeks he's spent in office as president.

Read below...!!!

If there is any group of individuals who can manufacture shock, political punditry out of nothing, it is the All Progressives Congress. They cried out that Jonathan was doing a terrible job as President of Nigeria. They said his inability to run the Federal Government is the reason our country has lapsed into wholesale chaos. He is the reason corruption decimated our population, turned brother against brother. He is the reason our military became weak and our borders constantly breached by Niger, Chad and Cameroonian gendarmes.

He is the reason our cities have all lost power and we have reclined back into the dark ages. He is the reason why thousands of wild dogs/Boko Haram roam our streets and rip our children apart. With democracy being an institution where we worry about how many people ‘agree’ about certain things, APC must be concerned that Nigerians are actually seeing that Buhari is not the messiah we need. When I wrote that Nigerians shouldn’t celebrate Buhari yet, a lot of his sympathisers reached for my scalp with all types of derogatory vocabularies.

Photo : Yvonne Nelson Has The Funniest Way Of Announcing Her Presence At 2015 BET Awards

Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson left Ghana days ago to Los Angeles but nobody knew her destination when she was leaving. The actress late Friday evening posted a picture of herself standing on a red carpet with “BET Awards” showing behind her.

Certainly, it was clear that Yvonne Nelson was in L.A for the awards but how Yvonne Nelson announced her presence at the event grounds on her instagram page is just funny.

Yvonne Nelson did not just go the usual way of saying that “I’m in L.A for BET” or “BET here I come” but rather decided to take a picture with the BET background and say something about her boobs which we all know will draw our attention to the fact that she is in L.A for the awards.

She wrote “My boobs look big how did that happen?? ” checking in at Staples Center which is a large multi-purpose sports arena in Downtown Los Angeles. When did Yvonne actually realised that her bobs are becoming bigger. I love Yvonne Nelson for what she just did.

Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Majid Michel, John Dumelo and other Ghanaians stars are already in L.A preparing for this year’s Black Entertainment Awards.

Why We Dropped 2015 Fashion Icon Awards Brand Ambassador, Doris Asomaning – Organizers

The organizers of Fashion Icon Awards cleared the air on reasons why Doris Adom-Asomaning was dropped as 2015 Brand Ambassador few days to the grand finale of the event.

In a statement released by the Event Director, Bashiru Olu confirmed that the organizers parted ways with the Ambassador for her failure to meet up with the event’s scheduled.

He added that Doris was NOT working on sponsorship for the event as BRAND AMBASSADOR as claimed in her interview with Ghanaweb.com but she signed another CONTRACT with the organizer as a professional “MARKETER” of Ebony & Ivory Production Ltd for a percentage and as at a week to the event when her appointment as Brand Ambassador was terminated, no sponsorship was confirmed from Doris (Marketer) as she claimed in her interview with Ghanaweb.com except the venue arrangement she facilitated.

Also Doris did not arranged photo shoot herself as claimed, the organizer made arrangement with top photographer Emmanuel Bobbie, designer Mina Evans, House of crammer stylist and gave her two option of make-up artist to choose from; despite the fact that the photo shoot wasn’t part of the contract signed but unfortunately her personal commitment and unnecessary demand couldn’t let the photo shoot happened for two weeks which led to delayed of promotional materials including event tickets.

Bulldog Fires At Mark Okraku Mantey & Blakk Rasta ..Clean Your House First !!!

Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson known widely as Bulldog has fired at Reggae act Blakk Rasta after Blakk faced Parliament’s Privileges Committee over alleged comments he made claiming that over 80% of Members of Parliament smoke Maurijuana (wee).

Bulldog wrote on his Social Media Platform;

NEXT TIME…

I never knew you could be remorseful. Blakk Rasta next time learn to respect your elders… You have brought disgrace to your parents, I am very sure you got proper upbringing but you paid no heed. Open your mouth that wide again and you will face the full rigors of the law.

You sit on your show maligning and make a mockery of personalities the least opportunity you get. I don't blame you but the people who put you on radio.

For a firm like multimedia that has produced the finest of presenters and journalists in the broadcasting industry this mars it's reputation. I wonder if anyone supervises Blakk Rasta's show? Or maybe HITZ FM doesn't have a programs manager. OH SORRY! Okraku Mante is.

Okraku Mante put a padlock on Blakk Rasta's slanderous lips, that's your job as a manager, to put your staff in check and stop hopping from one station to the other professing doom for Ghanaian artistes.

Always claiming Shatta Wale is disrespectful, Sarkodie is arrogant and countless belittling remarks you make about ghanaian artistes and their managers. Or you are also an "Errand Boy" and not a programs manager? Clean your house first.

Caroline Sampson Issues PRESS STATEMENT On Mzbel’s Baby-Daddy Drama

Award winning radio/TV personality and brand ambassador for Woodin, Carloine Sampson has come clear over brewing controversies sparked by a “misrepresentation by certain media outlets” regarding her recent comments on the identity of the father of Ghanaian musician MzBel.

Read Full Statement:

I have been excited about this opportunity as a guest host of the Celebrity Fan Zone on Viasat 1 since its conception. I am a little disappointed that, after an exciting start, there is an ensuing controversy brewing over a misrepresentation by certain media outlets, blogs especially regarding my statements as it pertains to MzBel and my relationship with her. It is my professional disposition, to lend clarity to the issue.

The onslaught of attacks and vitriol on various social media platforms and blogs due to this false representation of my statements regarding my knowledge of MzBel’s story and an implied friendship with her is unequivocally false. I have the contact info of celebrities as a media personality.

Couple of years ago, there was a rumour circulating the media regarding who had fathered MzBel’s son. As a mother myself, I felt obliged to confirm the story from a media standpoint before towing the line of the rumours. I reached out to MzBel via BBM at the time to ask if the rumours of who the father of her child is was true. She responded and confirmed that it was true.

I did not approach her as a friend. She was aware of my occupation as a media personality and that was the end of the conversation. I had no existing relationship with her and she freely shared the info, giving me the impression that it wasn’t something she cared to keep private given the fact that she knows i am a media personality.
